The 24year old R&B sensation sprung to fame with her first single titled "Need U Bad" which featured her mentor Missy Elliot. Such as her rich vocals, many had assumed that the lady on the radio was Lauryn Hill. Nevertheless there was more to follow, as her album "Fearless" was released with tracks such as "Bust Your Windows", "Dream Big", "Lions, Tigers & Bears". Music Box Talk can firmly say ( and real music fans will agree with us) that Jazmine's voice is a force to be reckoned with. On top of her vocal ability, she is gaining a reputation for songs with spectacular meaning (Bust Your Windows etc).

Jazmine continued her progress with the release of second studio album titled "Love Me Back". An album of which did not disapoint her fans, infact the album brought more of the same feel as her debut album. With the inclusion of songs that brought about an 80s vibe, songs that blew your mind with her vocals and others that told stories that made you play the song over and over. Song such as "Excuse Me", "10 Seconds", "Redemption", "U Get On My Nerves", Holding U Down" are the albums great talking points. Music Box Talk believes it is safe to say that Jazmine Sullivan talent has just begun and is taking the mold of a veteran artist such as Mary J. Blige.
